Getting Started With MetaHi

The first step is to set up your MetaHi account. There are two ways to create and customize your MetaHi account: via Email or by connecting your crypto wallet and opening your account in seconds with the Web3 login feature.

You can choose from any of the crypto wallets, such as Metamask, Brave Wallet, Dapper, Frame, Coinbase Wallet, Gnosis Safe, Tally, Web3 Browsers, and WalletConnect.

For an added layer of security, you can provide your email address and we will send you a backup code in case you lose access to your wallet. But make sure to keep your seed-phrase of your crypto wallet safe and never share it with anyone, since you will be unable to access your MetaHi account if you lose access to your wallet.

MetaHi currently supports the Polygon blockchain. The goal is to set up a multi-chain marketplace that will enable us to support multiple blockchains at the same time.

Uploading Items to MetaHi

You can find a detailed guide that will help you through the process of listing your 3D item on MetaHi marketplace. The process is simple: upload a preview image for your artwork and provide a 3D object in a .glb format. Don’t forget to set a price and add a detailed description. Also, specify the royalty amount.

Remember: When you finish your listing, it will be published but not active; it will be visible only to you. You can edit the details until you activate it. However, once it’s launched, you won’t be able to modify any information.

Selling Items on MetaHi

You can not sell the items without a wallet but you are not limited to selling your NFT assets within MetaHi — even if your item is listed for sale on MetaHi, you can still sell the very same item on other marketplaces.

You don’t need to pay gas fees when listing an item for sale on MetaHi. You are subject to gas fees only when interacting with a smart contract, for example, buying or transferring a token.

You can sell the exact item as many times as you wish. The item supply can be customized. You have the option to select the supply of your items during the listing process. There can be as many copies as you choose but each of them will be distinct and unique on the blockchain.

In case you decide that you don’t want to sell anymore, you can delist your item or items. While they will still be shown on your profile customers won’t be able to buy them anymore.
